Invented 1865, Cellulose Acetate is a material from the old pre-plastic days. Used for many applications, but due to the pleasant feel and visual aesthetics, cellulose acetate is common for high-end apparel accessories as sunglasses, buttons and hair clips. Mazzucchelli 1849 is the most recognizable cellulose acetate factory, located in Lombardia, Italy and in 6 generations has been led by one family. The deep atmospheric tracery perfected in the best Italian design traditions inspired us to experiment and create arabesque hats.
